About The Position
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks energetic, highly motivated, talented clinician-educators and clinician-scholars to advance our broad clinical, teaching, and research missions. This is an excellent part-time opportunity from both an academic and a clinical perspective, with the expectation to pick up 1-2 shifts per month when shift coverage is available and needed. Involvement directly in the academic mission is welcomed and encouraged and professionalism expectations are equivalent to full-time faculty.
Requirements
- Applicants must have graduated from an accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Program and be board-eligible or board-certified by ABEM.
- We seek candidates with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within diverse academic and clinical environments.
- Candidates will enter at the Clinical Assistant Professor level.
