About The Position
Washtenaw Community College seeks to recruit and retain a productive workforce as a reflection of our commitment to serve our community and to build on the success of our students, faculty & staff. The Parkridge Summer Program Counselors will be part of a strategic partnership with the City of Ypsilanti, providing programming to youth and adults at the Parkridge Community Center. This position involves leading and implementing engaging activities for youth ages 6-12 during a 5-week Summer Learning Experience. The goal is to enhance each child's learning capacity by improving their academic, social, and technology skills. The Summer Camp Counselor will provide high-quality indoor/outdoor educational and recreational experiences for youth, ensuring their safety and development.
