About The Position

Pace is seeking four (4) temporary part-time NTD assistants. The assistants will report to the Section Manager, Service Analysis, and assist Pace staff to ensure compliance with National Transit Database (NTD) requirements which allows Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding to be secured. Essential functions include: Travelling on buses to manually count boarding and alighting activity on selected runs to compare with APC results. Reviewing data collected to ensure accuracy and compliance with NTD requirements. Writing summaries of data collection activities.

Requirements

• Age: 18+.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Must have an interest in data and data collection.
• Familiarity with the Chicago region.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with using an Android tablet.
• Strong work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data and computer skills.
• Ability to work well individually and with others.
