Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Ability to complete an accelerated training program and pass multiple assessments within the training period.
  • Comfortable sitting for extended periods, using a headset, and entering data into computer systems while assisting customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, with high initiative and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Comfortable with cross-selling and up-selling products to customers.
  • Must attend full-time training Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM for several weeks.
  • Post-training schedule: 20 hours per week during regular business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Answer in-bound calls and actively listen to customers concerns.
  • Strive for first call resolution by efficiently addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues and providing accurate solutions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in the system.
  • Follow company policies and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality service.
  • Meet performance metrics, including call handling time and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Provide information about products and services.
  • Cross-sell and upsell service contracts to customers.
  • Coordinate with field representatives to ensure needs of customers are being met.
  • Operate in a team environment with customer satisfaction as the goal.
