Requirements

  • Degree in a related CTE Nursing Program required.
  • Must have at least three years of nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in teaching, coaching, tutoring or mentoring preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Advise CTE Nursing Program students in academic career choices and assist students with course registration issues.
  • Attend monthly department meetings.
  • Maintain membership in all CTE Advisory Committees.
  • Provide intrusive advisement to CTE Nursing Program students in open office hours.
  • Tutor CTE Nursing Program students throughout the academic year.
  • Track student progress for assessing outcomes from intensive interventions.
  • Provide an annual report to the Dean regarding assessment results.
  • Demonstrate and promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
