About The Position
The Riverside County Human Resources' Temporary Assignment Program (TAP) is seeking a Temporary Park Ranger I to provide support at the Mayflower Regional Park in Blythe. The incumbent will be responsible for explaining park policies, overseeing visitor registration, collecting fees, issuing camping permits, and assigning camping areas. Additionally, the role involves custodial duties, maintenance of park structures, answering public inquiries, providing emergency assistance, patrolling park areas, and maintaining records and reports. The position requires exposure to extreme heat during the summer.
