Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Temporary Non-Commissioned Security Guard to join our team. This temporary role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors, during the assigned coverage period. The position involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a high level of awareness and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.
Strong observational and situational awareness skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both interior and exterior, to deter and detect any signs of unauthorized entry, vandalism, or suspicious activity.
Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the facility.
Verify identification and parking tags as necessary.
Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
Provide assistance as needed and document all incidents accurately.
Provide a visible and approachable presence for employees and visitors, offering assistance and information as required.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches.
Prepare incident reports and submit them to the Security Coordinator.
Ensure compliance with all company security policies and procedures.
Participate in safety drills and training sessions as required.
Maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to security.
