About The Position

Maui Bay Villas is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. This position is responsible for overseeing all overnight front desk operations, providing exceptional guest service, and completing nightly audit duties. The Night Auditor ensures that daily revenue and expense transactions are accurately balanced, all charges are properly posted, and reports are prepared for the next business day. Schedule Details This is a Temporary Position Our Front Office Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This position is an overnight shift, scheduled from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 3 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Please note that additional days may be assigned based on operational needs, including coverage requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nightly audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expenses.
  • Identify and resolve out‑of‑balance situations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all guest and owner charges are properly posted and supported by documentation.
  • Prepare back‑up files, close daily operations in the reservation system, and set up the system for the following day.
  • Generate housekeeping reports and print departure folios.
  • Compile and file daily revenue reports.
  • Manage cash funds and complete daily shift deposits accurately.
  • Calculate month‑end account balances and submit to accounting.
  • Process reservation advance deposits and maintain accurate logs.
  • Perform all Front Desk duties including check‑in, check‑out, and cashiering.
  • Assist guests and owners, providing outstanding hospitality at all times.
  • Support additional departments as needed (bell services, answering phones, etc.).
  • Report unresolved guest concerns to management.
