About The Position
The position involves assisting in the day-to-day operation of the NC State Plant Disease and Insect Clinic. The laboratory technician will perform diagnostic assays on plant samples, log incoming samples into the clinic database, prepare agar media, replenish supplies, wash glassware, assist with inventory updates, and undertake other assigned duties. The office assistant responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, updating the billing system, depositing checks, sending invoices, and general accounting troubleshooting.
