We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented recruiting professional to serve as an in-house Contingent Labor Program Lead for a temporary assignment. This role involves recruiting, hiring, and managing contingent labor. The lead will oversee a small organization of contingent workers throughout their work assignments to ensure a positive employee experience. The Lead will ensure seamless coordination between hiring managers and contingent workers that are deployed to work assignments throughout the RTX enterprise. This is a hybrid role where work will be performed both onsite in El Segundo, CA., and offsite. This is a temporary assignment to provide staffing coverage during a leave of absence. The assignment is expected to last 6-9 months.

  • Source, screen, and promote qualified technical and non-technical candidates for contingent roles across multiple departments.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and offer strategic recruitment support.
  • Lead staffing inquiry and intake calls, providing expert guidance on the contingent labor program and related run rules.
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle for the contingent workforce, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Deliver both regular and ad-hoc operational reports, offering insights into the effectiveness of the contingent labor program.
  • Support employee relations efforts by assisting with performance concerns, disciplinary actions, investigations, terminations, and other workplace matters.
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition or Contingent Labor programs.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems.
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with WorkDay is highly desirable.
