Operations is comprised of three separate departments, each with distinct roles and responsibilities to ensure the proper segregation of duties. The Settlement and Funding team is responsible for the pre-closing process including deal and fee structure, trade activity, document management, KYC and settlement coordination. Portfolio Administration is responsible for the booking of deals, daily servicing activity such as payment processing, advances and rate resets, as well as the maintenance of referential data. The Loan Accounting team is responsible for the daily verification of cash activity, the reconciliation of positions with our Trustees, and the creation and reconciliation of month end general ledger accounting entries. Operations play a pivotal role in the data integrity of the investment portfolios. The teams collaborate closely with many other areas of the Firm including the Front Office, Treasury, Tax and Fund Accounting. Golub Capital has one intern position for our Operations team.
