This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in financial analysis, reconciliations, and business support within a fast-paced environment. The position is term-based, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and timely execution of tasks.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Requires a background check upon offer
  • Requires a drug test upon offer

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
  • Familiarity with financial modeling or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance
  • Understanding of GAAP principles

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and discrepancies
  • Maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members on ad hoc financial projects and reporting requests
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
