This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in financial analysis, reconciliations, and business support within a fast-paced environment. The position is term-based, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and timely execution of tasks.

Requirements

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
Familiarity with financial modeling or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance
Understanding of GAAP principles

Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close processes
Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and discrepancies
Maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and databases
Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed
Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance
Collaborate with team members on ad hoc financial projects and reporting requests
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
