About The Position

Millcreek Community Center is located in Salt Lake City/Millcreek area. Our facility includes a gymnasium, a fitness room, indoor walking track, and runs many youth sports and group fitness classes. Perks include a great working environment & flexible hours. Students and retirees are welcome. We are looking for motivated, reliable, people-friendly staff in various areas including Recreation, Fitness, Customer Service, and Custodial Staff. Positions available include Youth Sports Recreation roles, Fitness Room Attendants, Group Fitness Instructors, Front Desk Attendants, and Custodians. These are temporary positions with specific working hour requirements.

Requirements

• Must be motivated and reliable
• Must be people-friendly
• Must be 21 years or older for Ski and Snowboard Chaperones
• Ability to work an average of 29 hours or less per week or 129 hours or less per month

Nice To Haves

• Experience in youth sports
• Certification in fitness instruction
• Customer service experience
• Previous custodial experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in youth sports activities
• Officiate Jr. Jazz games
• Scorekeep for Jr. Jazz games
• Supervise Jr. Jazz sites
• Instruct tennis classes
• Supervise T-Ball games
• Officiate indoor soccer games
• Officiate flag football games
• Chaperone ski and snowboard activities
• Participate in track and field and cross country events
• Attend to fitness room duties
• Lead group fitness classes
• Provide customer service at the front desk
• Perform custodial duties during the day and evening shifts
