About The Position

Draper Recreation Center is the newest Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation facility with amenities that include an outdoor pool, indoor leisure pool, indoor competitive lap pool, indoor field house, multiple fitness areas, party rooms, and drop-in child care. Perks include flexible hours and a fun work environment. We are looking for motivated, reliable, people for various positions across different areas including Recreation, Fitness, Aquatics, Childcare, and Customer Service.

Requirements

• Must be 14 years or older for youth sports positions.
• Must be 15 years or older for aquatics positions.
• Must be 18 years or older for fitness and childcare positions.
• Lifeguard certification may be required for certain positions.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in coaching or officiating sports.
• Certification in group fitness instruction.
• Previous experience in childcare or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and officiate youth sports activities including flag football, soccer, and T-ball.
• Instruct group fitness classes in land and water settings.
• Ensure safety and provide lifeguard services at the pool.
• Teach swim lessons and coach swim teams.
• Provide childcare services in a drop-in daycare setting.
• Assist with customer service at the front desk and maintain facility cleanliness.
