The Mathematics Department in the School of Arts & Sciences at Greenville Technical College invites applications for Instructors/Assistant Professor of Mathematics positions. The Department of Mathematics at Greenville Technical College averages more than 2,300 students per semester and currently employs 16 full-time and 12 part-time mathematics and statistics faculty. We offer a wide range of mathematics and statistics courses in order to support the needs of a variety of programs throughout the college: Quantitative Reasoning, Probability and Statistics, Advanced Statistics, Math for Elementary Education, College Algebra, College Trigonometry, Business Calculus I and II, Analytic Geometry, Calculus I, II, and III, and Differential Equations. The mission of the Department is to prepare virtually every degree-seeking student at the college to use math effectively in their chosen field or to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. Math courses are offered in both traditional and online formats.
