Our Eastern Territorial Headquarters I.T. Department has an exciting opportunity for a Communications Specialist. This is a full-time, temporary, twelve (12) week position which requires approximately 35 hours of work per week and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote). Our office is located in West Nyack, NY. The IT Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the IT Department in its efforts to educate and inform internal users through clear, user-friendly communications. This temporary role focuses on creating engaging content that simplifies technical concepts, promotes IT best practices, and supports project rollouts and alerts. The specialist will work closely with the User Experience Manager and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop a range of materials, including how-to guides, quick tips, service notices, and email templates. Strong visual communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical topics into plain language are key to success in this role.
