It's election season, and we need your help! Calling all Customer Service professionals! As a Temporary Hotline Representative, you will take inbound calls from Poll Workers at Vote Centers, Troubleshooters, or Curbside Voters. You are responsible for creating a detailed ticket of each call, providing troubleshooting assistance, ordering supplies, and dispatching help to the Vote Center when needed. Maricopa County Elections serves over 2.5 million registered voters as they exercise their right to make informed decisions regarding the selection of local and national leaders and ballot measures. Requirements

  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be a registered voter or have the ability to become a registered voter in the State of Arizona by time of hire
  • Must pass an applicable background screening
  • Must demonstrate strong professional skills with internal and external stakeholders (written, telephone, and verbal)
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary

Nice To Haves

  • One or more years of poll worker experience
  • One or more years of general office experience
  • One or more years of moderate computer use experience
  • One or more years of election experience

Responsibilities

  • Takes inbound calls from Poll Workers at Vote Centers, Troubleshooters, or Curbside Voters
  • Creates tickets detailing the call and what transpired
  • Provides troubleshooting over the phone, placing tickets for order supplies, or dispatching help to the Vote Center
  • Assists other divisions of Elections with their daily functions and activities
