About The Position

Requirements

• High school education or the equivalent.
• Must be able to safely move, drag, lift, load and unload various materials and supplies with or without assistance.
• Ability to multi-task sample tracking and testing.
• Must be familiar with typing.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Nice To Haves

• Education or experience in highway construction inspection or working in a general laboratory environment.
• Experience in inventory tracking.
• Experience in using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Through the use of MS Outlook and Excel, will review shipments of asphaltic materials and schedule random samples of such.
• Log in and track samples being received.
• Through on-the-job training, will use analytical laboratory equipment to conduct basic tests of asphaltic materials and help with cleaning and maintaining lab equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
