The Gallery Manager oversees the “front of house” operations of CCA’s Exhibitions and Public Programming department. The department operates three public-facing galleries–Campus Gallery, Novack Gallery, and PLAySPACE Gallery–plus oversees the Creative Citizens in Action Initiative, CCA’s Voting Coalition, and supports partners across the college related to strategic and/or curricular exhibitions and events that attract audiences from CCA and beyond. The Gallery Manager supports the Director of Exhibitions and Public Programming in the administration of the overall exhibitions program and is responsible for administrative tasks related to scheduling, tracking expenses and purchases, assisting with loan and insurance paperwork, maintaining the exhibitions archive, supervising work study students, and ensuring smooth operations in the spaces we operate. The Gallery Manager oversees promotion, web presence, and social media for the department and manages the setup and oversight of receptions and events. This is a temporary, part-time position with an anticipated end date of December 9, 2025.
