This is a temporary full-time faculty position reporting directly to the Interim Director for Emergency Medical Services. The instructor is responsible for teaching 15 load hours in the fall and spring semesters and 12 load hours in the summer semester in the areas of Paramedic, EMR, or EMT with the availability to teach mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed. The instructor must also be available to students for consultation for at least 10 on-campus office hours per week. The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Paramedic Faculty reports indirectly to the Program Director and is responsible for all aspects of the Program’s Didactic and Clinical sections as assigned by the program director including: developing, monitoring and maintaining an adequate number of clinical education documentation; teaching preceptor classes to clinical staff; ensuring communication between the Program and clinical sites; scheduling instruction and evaluation of students; and providing annual reports to Program Director, Program Advisory Board, and Program faculty.
