About The Position
The Temporary Full-Time Custodian position at James Monroe High School involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the school buildings and grounds. The custodian will operate heating or cooling systems, make minor repairs, and develop a daily work schedule in collaboration with the principal. Responsibilities include addressing odors, particularly in restrooms, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and maintaining a log of problem areas. The custodian will also manage supply inventory to ensure a minimum two-week supply is available and perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the school principal and superintendent.
