Temporary Full Time Bus Operator: Orchard area Peterstown to Peterstown School, Woodson Rd., Pine Grove/Bunker Hill Rd, 219 to JMHS

About the position

The position is for a Temporary Full Time Bus Operator responsible for transporting students from the Orchard area to Peterstown School, Woodson Rd., Pine Grove/Bunker Hill Rd, and 219 to JMHS. The role requires supervision of all passengers and adherence to transportation regulations and policies. The position will end when the current employee returns to work or if there is a change in employment status.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all passengers during the bus run.
• Make assigned run daily and report any deviations to proper authorities.
• Comply with WV School Transportation Regulations and Monroe County School Transportation Policy.
• Report any accidents, incidents, breakdowns, or disciplinary problems to the proper authority as soon as possible.
• Fill out disciplinary forms provided by the board.
• Maintain positive work habits and perform duties efficiently and productively.
• Maintain and/or upgrade skills as necessary.

Requirements

• Must hold bus operator licensure including a valid First Aid Card and CPR Card.
• Must qualify for the B Part of the Commercial Driver's License.
• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Physically fit according to WV School Transportation Regulations.
• Satisfactory driving record with WV Dept. of Safety.
• Meet all qualifications set forth in WV School Transportation Regulations.
