About The Position

We are pleased to announce the following available position: Temp FT Registered Nurse (12 WEEKS) TEMPORARY PSYCH REGISTERED NURSE (RN). This position is responsible for implementation of the nursing process in all aspects of patient care for all patient populations including older mature adults, chemically dependent adults and youth, adult psych, and adolescent SIPP/RTC. Apply appropriate theories to psychiatric nursing practice for all patients to assure a comprehensive approach to patient care is maintained.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
• BLS certification.
• CPR certification and successful completion of restraining procedures training within 30 days of employment.
• Understanding of The Joint Commission (TJC), OSHA and state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Ability to prioritize workload and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Focus on providing high quality patient care.
