About The Position
Under the supervision of the Customer Services Manager, performs all duties with an exceptional customer experience focus. Assists Customer Services Manager in providing work direction to the Customer Service Attendants in the Savanna Grill and other food service locations throughout the zoo, ensures food & supply inventory is stocked appropriately in all food delivery locations and any needs identified to Customer Services Manager daily. Takes pride in providing an excellent customer experience for our guests. Understands the importance of nourishing team member's motivation and support, and is naturally passionate about conserving the earth and its resources. Prepares quality food options for our guests ensuring current health code standards are met/or exceeded. Participates in menu development. Completes required reports. Supports others in properly maintaining all equipment in designated work areas. Ensures dining and customer seating areas are clean and in a sanitary condition for our guests. Communicates required repair or maintenance needs effectively. Provides effective cash drawer and change bag management. Performs duties of the customer service attendant as needed and always leads by example.
