About The Position

Cornell Dining is a Top 10 Nationally Ranked Dining program, which prides itself on serving safe, high-quality, and ethnically diverse cuisine. Cornell Dining is looking for customer-focused, high-energy, inspired, and ready-to-learn individuals who have a passion for food! Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Wage per hour is $17.00! These positions will have a January 15, 2026, start date. In this position, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and learn how to: Prepare and present food items for a diverse customer audience. Maintain food standards and health codes. Provide excellent customer service to guests. Operate point-of-sale retail systems. Wash, organize, and stock all key items. Ensure unit cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld. All positions are part-time casual (19 hours per week or less), non-benefits eligible. Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills essential.
  • Basic reading and English speaking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in being a team player, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform various motor skills such as lifting (30+ lbs.), reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, squatting, and grasping as needed.
  • Students are not eligible to apply for this position.
