About The Position

The Fleet Assembly Technician I supports the assembly, inspection, and preparation of fleet vehicles and equipment for deployment. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality. The position is temporary and may support seasonal operational needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic mechanical or assembly experience preferred
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
Valid driver’s license may be required depending on duties

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with fleet vehicles or equipment
Experience in a warehouse, automotive, or assembly environment
Basic understanding of safety protocols and PPE usage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
While performing the duties of this job, the candidate is regularly required to talk or hear, and must be able to lift up to 75+ lbs., bend, climb, stand for duration of shift, etc.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of completed work and inventory usage
Assist with fueling and readiness checks
Follow standard operating procedures and report any discrepancies or safety concerns
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support other fleet operations as directed
