About the position
The Temporary Fine Arts position is designed to provide support for events held by the Fine Arts Department. This role involves assisting with various tasks related to the organization and execution of events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for events held by the Fine Arts Department.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events.
- Engage with public school children during events.
- Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.
- Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of public school operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic theatre knowledge.
- Ability to work well with large crowds.
- Experience working with public school children.
