About The Position

The International Arctic Research Center (IARC) invites applications for our temporary faculty job pool. We are seeking individuals who hold a Ph.D. and bring the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to collaborate effectively with IARC faculty and researchers. Applicants must have relevant experience that enables meaningful contributions to specific projects and programs. A demonstrated proficiency in research methodologies, use of research software, and analytical approaches is essential to carry out and support proposed research activities. To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, a deep commitment to their research area, and relevant field experience where applicable. Equally important is the ability to create a collaborative and dynamic learning environment. This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year and applicants are reviewed on an as-needed-basis by the International Arctic Research Center. This position is located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus in Fairbanks.
