The Department of Art and Design at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), offers three distinct B.A. degrees, one in Art, one in Art History and one in Design. We invite highly qualified, motivated, and well-organized, applicants for a temporary pool of part-time teaching appointments in all three of these areas. This application is for Art (studio practice) instruction. CSUDH is seeking applications from candidates who can demonstrate experience in teaching and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and contribute to the University's mission, vision, and core values. The temporary faculty pool is continuously open, and positions are filled as needed, based on student enrollment and funding. Candidates may need to be available to begin teaching on short notice. The Fall term begins in late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term begins mid-January and ends in mid-May. Opportunities for teaching during the Summer Sessions may also be available.
