The Department of Languages and Cultures invites applicants for a Temporary Faculty Instructor of French position. The position begins in January 2026. The Temporary Faculty member will teach undergraduate courses in the French program. Learning instructions will be provided in French and English languages. Courses are offered in-person during the day and evening. The ideal candidate will use innovative teaching skills and demonstrate attention to the learning and teaching needs of the department's students. The candidate's experience, expertise, and specialized training will strengthen departmental and campus-wide efforts. The successful candidate will join the French Program in a diverse department committed to student success. The initial appointment will be for one semester, with the possibility of renewal for future semesters based on departmental needs. The anticipated workload can be up to 9 credits of teaching, depending on program requirements and scheduling.
