About The Position

Emens Auditorium is seeking temporary laborers to work events. Position Description: This position is for stage hands that will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment trucks and will work setting up and tearing down of production items on upcoming events performing at Emens Auditorium, Pruis Hall, and Brown Family Amphitheatre. This position may include work with hair and make-up, audio, property crew, and follow spot operators. Electrical and carpentry work may also be needed. Goodness requires action to grow. Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Position requires extended periods of standing and physical laborer.
  • Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
  • Requires successful completion of a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Over 3 months of related experience.
  • Experience in carpentry, electrical, follow spot operator, property crew, audio crew, truck loaders, pushers, backline, costumes, hair/make-up crew, and video crew.

Responsibilities

  • This position is for a wide variety of functions that is necessary for putting on a live production before an audience.
