About The Position

The Temporary Disaster Recovery Crew Member position involves assisting in the recovery and restoration of properties affected by storms. This role focuses on debris removal and basic structural recovery tasks under general supervision.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic maintenance is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Knowledge and experience with handling hand tools, i.e. circular saw, miter saw, chain saw, and table saw preferred
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in repair is preferred
• Teamwork, communication, and listening skills
• Valid Florida driver's license
• Task-oriented
• Ability to work outside in hot/cold conditions
• Work with limited supervision

Responsibilities

• Clean up debris from properties
• Assist with disaster recovery on basic structures
• Restore items like posts, signs, and fencing
• Cut and remove trees on properties
