About The Position
The work we do matters! The Game & Parks Commission is hiring for a Temporary Conservation Technician II position located in Bassett, NE. Under the direction of the Pollinator Biologist, the successful candidate will complete surveys, coordinate with volunteers, attend or lead workshops, and compile data for the Nebraska Bumble Bee Atlas. This position may also assist with other pollinator-related activities such as butterfly surveys, monarch tagging, moth lighting, and native bee surveys. Because survey windows are dependent upon weather conditions, working variable hours and weekends might be necessary to complete project objectives. Survey work will be completed statewide, so travel will be required.
