This temporary position involves working with the program Coordinator, CE Director and other classroom aides in working with the children at this Summer Kids' College program.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience and 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a child care/camp setting or supervising children’s activities or programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe environment for the participants of the program.
Work directly with the children by directing and assisting children to classrooms/buildings, to and from activities each day and help supervising students.
Be a positive role model or mentor for children and helping to ensure the rules are followed and students remain engaged in the activities.
Assist ECC program staff in day to day activities that could include assisting parents with check in, paperwork or direct classroom support.
Notify Instructors and/or ECC management staff of any problems that may arise.
Be familiar with and follow the guidelines set forth in the staff manual, the ECC brochure and parent paperwork
Observe ECC covid-19 cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
Be able to work a Monday-Thursday schedule.
