About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of clerical and administrative experience.
• Typing skills at a minimum of 40 wpm.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational ability to plan and complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, screen, and direct callers/visitors to the appropriate staff person.
• Provide requested information and refer to the appropriate staff person.
• Take written accurate messages and distribute them in a timely manner.
• Pick up and receive mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries daily.
• Distribute emergency fund applications and refer applicants to the Administrative Assistant.
• Take registrations for ministry programs and special events as needed.
• Check, inventory, and sign for deliveries, notifying relevant staff of their arrival.
• Ensure church business is handled with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Assist with database management as requested by the Minister of Administration.
• Participate in monthly staff meetings, taking minutes and maintaining electronic copies.
