About The Position

Children’s Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 60 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. The Temporary Charge Capture Coordinator supports the Charge Capture Team with timely report audit and reconciliation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with a high degree of accuracy required.
• Administrative experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on spreadsheet capabilities.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills and follow-through discipline required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Review department reports for accuracy in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Sort, organize and inventory charges received from hospital services.
• Assist with report audit and reconciliation for hospital services rendered.
• Research missing reports or documentation to ensure charge capture.
• File documents in designated locations.
• Support the continuous assessment and improvement of the quality of services provided.
• Meet and follow all requirements outlined in department and company policies.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
