About The Position

Anthropologie is seeking a Buying Operations Coordinator to support the daily operational functions within your buying area through follow-up with vendors and cross functional partners.

Requirements

  • High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experienced in Outlook, Word, Excel, and some math required.
  • Exhibits a high energy level as well as a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for entering and revising purchase orders for both selling channels.
  • Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through consistent communication and follow-up with vendors, cross functional partners, distribution center and buying team.
  • Act as liaison between the vendor and the buyer; responsible for vendor follow-up such as updating discounts on POs for late deliveries, closing orders, processing RTVs for defective or poor quality merchandising”
  • Develop strong vendor communication skills; set up new vendors and assist them with compliance questions.
  • Tend to vendor requests and PO maintenance.
  • Ensure proper set up and maintenance of SKUS in IP, MTS, and Sterling (via B2c) including pricing, costing, loads, descriptions, attributes, shipping restrictions and up charges.
  • Enter price changes and ticket requests when necessary
  • Manage backorders and any customer service inquiries
  • Work in synergy with Buying, Planning, Allocation and Ecommerce teams toward common goals for the merchandise area.
  • Partner with Merchandising and Web Producers to ensure timely activations of products.
  • Monitor/Audit website for changes based on inventory, sales, newness and trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.
