The Bilingual GIS & Agrivoltaics Education Specialist will lead the development, adaptation, and delivery of a bilingual (Spanish–English) GIS agrivoltaics siting curriculum for farmworker high school–aged youth and their families in the Eastern Coachella Valley. This position will work collaboratively with the Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability (RRC) at Pitzer College and Alianza Nacional de Campesinas (ANC) to support workforce development objectives under the Inland SoCal Thrive Catalyst Pre-Development Grant. The Specialist will integrate SoCal Earth, a geospatial data platform with 300+ environmental layers, into culturally responsive curriculum and instruction that introduces youth to clean energy, land-use planning, and agrivoltaics career pathways. The role combines technical GIS work, curriculum design, bilingual instruction, and community-centered engagement. The Fellow will work with the director and other Redford Conservancy staff as needed to coordinate and conduct training as appropriate.
