The Office of Human Resources is looking for a temporary Benefits Analyst to administer FMLA Leave, Workers Compensation, and Flexible Spending accounts for faculty and staff. Core Responsibilities: Administers FMLA Leaves for Staff and Faculty. This activity includes obtaining medical certifications, follow-through with the employee to ensure the leave is approved and the Employee Change Notice is completed to ensure the accurate use and allocation of Sick Time, Short Term Illness and Extended Illness Benefits. This position also manages Workers Compensation claims in concert with our FMLA and absence processes. 60% Administers Brandeis University's Workers Compensation Program including filing First Report of Injury reports, maintaining case files and reports. Provides data as requested by regulatory agencies. Reviews ADAAA Accommodation requests with Human Resources and internal legal counsel. 15% Supports the administration of the Brandeis Tuition Remission Program. 10% Leads annual open enrollment (OE) process including total pre- and post- OE coordination. Manages internal contingencies and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery to employees. Coordinates the attendance of vendors and logistics for the annual Health Fair. 10% Engages in day to day problem solving, review, investigation, response, and resolution of benefits concerns. May assist conducting new employee orientation and meet with employees with regards to benefit questions. 5% This is a temporary position. The hourly pay rate for the position is $25.5-$39.
