About The Position

The Associate Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for creatively and proactively using sourcing techniques to screen and create a pipeline of candidates for high volume/time sensitive positions. The Associate Talent Acquisition Recruiter will also partner closely with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process to understand talent needs, provide updates, and guide/influence Hiring Managers to reach the optimal hiring decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of full cycle high volume recruitment experience.
  • 1+ years of Applicant Tracking System experience.
  • 1+ years of interacting with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Interviewing and making sound offer decisions.
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent.
  • Work with hiring managers to forecast and determine open positions, understand position requirements, and candidate success profiles.
  • Source and recruit applicants using methods including print and electronic advertising, social media, career fairs, networking, cold calling, college and university programs, community agencies, workforce centers, professional associations, and employee referral programs.
  • Manage resume flow and candidate communications to set and maintain clear expectations related to next steps within the recruiting process and disposition.
  • Complete and distribute weekly reports on position vacancies, class fills, sourcing activities, and applicant flow.
  • Work cooperatively with all members of the Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement plans and activities.
  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential passive and active candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers’ interactions, and other recruiting activities.
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Assurant leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members.
