About The Position

Looking for consistent daytime work in a kitchen environment? TES Staffing is hiring Food Service Workers to support daily meal preparation and service Monroe 1 BOCES in Fairport, NY. This role is ideal for dependable candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a structured, team-oriented setting. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations
• Possess current driver's license
• Training will be provided
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties (with or without reasonable accommodations)
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Food preparation including salads, sandwiches, slicing, and cold prep
• Wash, trim, and prepare vegetables and fruits
• Portion desserts, salads, and fruit for serving
• Set up and break down serving lines
• Serve food during meal periods
• Operate dish machine and wash pots, pans, and utensils
• Operate standard kitchen appliances and equipment
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
• May serve as cashier as needed
• Assist with vending operations
• Deliver food to off-site BOCES facilities as required
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
