The Breakdown: Technical Designers collaborate with the Creative, Development, and Asia Merchandising teams to develop garments from initial concept through production. Technical Designers are responsible for interpreting sketches and providing technical recommendations while engineering optimal patterns and specifications to achieve design concepts and meet product brief deliverables. Technical Designers are encouraged to stay abreast of market trends, research new technologies, and create forward-thinking concepts to fulfill current or future consumer needs.
