Temporary Admission Associate (Anticipated Mid-January through Mid-August) Kent Place School, an all-girls independent day school serving students in Kindergarten through Grade 12, with a coeducational Preschool, seeks a Temporary Admission Associate to join the Admission Office from January through August 2026. This full-time, temporary role reports to the Director of Middle & Upper School Admission/Director of Financial Aid and supports a collaborative five-person team in providing an exceptional experience for prospective and newly admitted families. The Admission Associate will coordinate campus visits and events, manage the admission database, and serve as a welcoming first point of contact for families. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and people-focused, with strong communication and organizational skills. Training and transition support will take place in January.

  • Manage and execute a smooth visitor calendar for Primary, Middle, and Upper School applicants and admitted students
  • Secure students for classroom visits and tours across all academic divisions
  • Coordinate all admitted student programming, including family tours and student revisit days.
  • Support and attend all Spring admission events (evening hours included)
  • Coordinate and support biweekly meetings with Student Ambassador leadership in Middle and Upper Schools
  • Coordinate the application process of new tour guides in Middle and Upper Schools
  • Prepare all documentation needed in preparation for the Admission Committee meetings in Primary, Middle and Upper Schools.
  • Support prospective families in the completion of second-round admission applications
  • Support the daily operations of the financial aid process, including assisting the Director of Financial Aid in preparing files for the committee.
  • Answering general questions related to the process from prospective and current families
  • Support the notification of grant decisions for current and newly admitted families
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
  • Data management experience
  • A collaborative, customer service approach to partnering with all constituencies
  • Blackbaud experience is a plus
  • Prior school experience preferred
