About The Position
The position involves assisting the Registered Nurse by performing patient care activities that are delegated to unlicensed nursing support professionals. The individual will also carry out additional specific functions for which they have been prepared. Responsibilities include observing and reporting on the functioning of equipment, the results of treatments, the condition of dressings, and any changes in patient condition. The role requires incorporating the concepts of the Hospital's Guest Relations Program into all aspects of patient care activities, emphasizing confidentiality, responsiveness, and caring. The individual will be accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities and must adhere to the policies and procedures of the department.
