About The Position

This role helps ensure temple facilities teams worldwide are trained, capable, and aligned to maintain temples at the highest standards. The position combines facilities expertise with learning and development leadership to create and deliver training methods, improve performance, and support consistent practices across all temple facilities teams.

Requirements

  • Current Temple Recommend.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities, education, instructional design, or related field.
  • At least 5 years demonstrated expertise in instructional design and training development, within facilities management industry preferred.
  • Strong communication, training, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work across teams and influence outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in temple facilities or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems and building infrastructure.
  • Extensive expertise with learning systems or instructional design.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods.
  • Second language (Spanish preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Identify training and development needs with temple facilities leadership.
  • Design, create, and implement strategies and methods for technical, leadership, and process training.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs (e.g., TFMS, maintenance practices, new systems, etc.).
  • Create learning paths for onboarding, certification, and ongoing development.
  • Facilitate training sessions and provide coaching to leaders, staff, and trainers.
  • Track training completion, certifications, and compliance.
  • Maintain training materials, documentation, and knowledge resources.
  • Measure and improve training effectiveness.
  • Advise leaders on workforce development and training implementation.
  • Support rollout of new processes, tools, and improvements.
  • Partner with leadership and subject matter experts to align training with organizational needs.
  • Support leadership development for facilities managers.
  • Promote key division principles: alignment, sacredness, unity, and excellence.
