SUMMARY Under direct supervision, the Template Editor is responsible for the administrative, template managing for providers of the Service Line. Duties include but are not limited to editing of provider templates to reflect approved time off, communication of template changes to department supervisors, phone room supervisors, and scheduling supervisors as applicable, to ensure timely and patient centered rescheduling takes place. Tracking and updating of approved time off for providers. Works closely with chiefs and notifies if balance in accruals are low. Setting up of new provider templates and modifiers and adjusts for ramp as directed by service line. Ensures template standards are adhered including interfacing with analysts for technical guidance on any template issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required
  • A minimum of three years in a clinical or customer service setting preferred.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft, scheduling software and electronic medical records systems (Epic or equivalent).
  • Strong problem solving and complex patient management skills.
  • Able to communicate in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills required.
  • Working knowledge of patient related documents preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills necessary to manage many competing timetables and responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively plan for the timely and successful completion of short- and long-term objectives.
  • Ability to consistently meet established deadlines for deliverable or activities.
