About The Position

The Temperanceville Feed Mill Worker position at Tyson Foods involves various responsibilities related to maintaining cleanliness and assisting with ingredient unloading activities at the mill. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments. Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed
• Assist with ingredients unloading activities like unloading of rail cars/trucks
• Clean up feed spills
• Perform ground keeping duties using landscaping equipment such as mowers and trimmers
• Use and maintain air-driven equipment like blow guns for cleaning activities
• Use high-pressure water hoses to wash down and clean areas of the feed mill
• Use PIT to move pallets of ingredients
• Wear required PPE ear protection
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
• Work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
• Sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
• Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
• Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing
• Follow and operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Stand, sit, walk, climb ladder/stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day
• Complete all other tasks assigned by management
