The Temp to Perm Unreal Developer at Omnicom Production is a lead role focused on creating immersive product visualizations and gamified experiences for major brands. This position requires a strong game developer with expertise in Unreal Engine, who can lead a global team of 3D artists and developers. The role involves hands-on development initially, with the potential to transition into management or a principal role, emphasizing collaboration with various creative and technical teams to deliver high-quality interactive content.

  • Create immersive product detail experiences, AR experiences, and sales-enablement aids for large brands.
  • Be hands-on in the beginning with the possibility to transition to management or a principal role.
  • Lead a global team to create game-ready assets and experiences.
  • Assist with project requirements gathering, project estimation, and project planning.
  • Work directly with our Unity, Epic Games, Adobe, and NVIDIA partners.
  • Collaborate with our creative directors, game developers, artists, and engineers to create immersive brand experiences.
  • Manage source control Perforce, feature branches, and software deployments.
  • Manage our internal CI/CD processes.
  • Manage asset production for Unity, Unreal, and WebGL through our technical artists.
  • Take the lead in authoring specifications, visualization logic, product configurator logic, and game code.
  • Monitor and profile build performance.
  • Foster continuous innovation with new technologies and processes.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a game developer with Unreal Engine.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Experience extending editor-based tools and build scripts in addition to authoring game logic.
  • Expert knowledge of game scripting (C#, C++, and Python).
  • Expert Blueprint Knowledge.
  • Experience managing source control Perforce.
  • Strong proficiency in Unreal or WebGL.
  • Some experience with Maya or Blender preferred.
  • Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse a plus.
  • VR/AR/MR experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, game development, fine arts, or related field preferred.
  • Must have a portfolio and can talk through prior experience of creating games and/or product visualization experiences.
  • Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse.

  • Freelance hourly rate of $75-$85/hr.
  • Hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 remote).
