About The Position

The position involves performing daily routine cleaning operations and project cleaning in assigned areas of responsibility. The individual will provide the necessary operational requirements for the set-up and take-down of equipment and fixtures for conferences, athletic events, and other special events. Additionally, the role includes performing building inspections and conducting routine minor repairs to the building, equipment, fixtures, and furniture. Daily recycling pick-up is also part of the responsibilities, along with reporting all needed corrective maintenance to the Physical Plant office.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily routine cleaning operations and project cleaning in assigned areas.
• Provide operational requirements for set-up and take-down of equipment and fixtures for events.
• Conduct building inspections and perform routine minor repairs.
• Perform daily recycling pick-up.
• Report needed corrective maintenance to the Physical Plant office.
• Inform the Physical Plant Directors and Managers on the condition of assigned areas.
• Maintain good relations with the public and staff.
• Practice confidentiality and trustworthiness.
• Keep appearance neat and well-groomed.
