About The Position

Join our client's fast-growing team within the service industry as a Temp Accounts Payable Specialist. This temporary role is designed for a detail-oriented professional to manage high-volume accounts payable tasks and support financial operations during a period of rapid growth. The position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate and may include overtime depending on business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in accounts payable
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Process and manage vendor invoices to meet daily metrics goals, ensuring accurate coding and approvals.
• Prepare and process electronic virtual card payments, as requested.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper handling of vendor-related inquiries and issues.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors, as needed.
• Audit, verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage incoming vendor communications to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment related issues.
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of accounts payable processes and systems.
